Jan Young was a staff photographer for the Tempe Daily News for over twenty years. The photographs in this collection were all taken by Jan Young and document a wide variety of community activities from 1971 to 1992. Many of the photographs from this collection were published in the Tempe Daily News and were often accompanied by news articles or special features. The Jan Young collection contains over 7500 original negatives and over 7500 preservation original prints created from these negatives by the Tempe History Museum.
